The Science Behind CoolSculpting
When you freeze fat cells, they self-destruct. CoolSculpting suctions the skin of the area you’re concerned about, and then it uses a controlled cooling process, called Cryolipolysis, to drop the skin’s temperature down to the temperature needed to kill those fat cells. The body then will eliminate naturally those dead fat cells over the next few weeks, leaving you slimmer.
Cryolipolysis is the secret behind CoolSculpting’s success. Researchers at Harvard Medical School’s teaching affiliate found that fat cells could be targeted with extreme cold to induce lipolysis, which is the breakdown of fat cells. The temperature is key; fat cells can be frozen without harming other tissues (like the skin).
CoolSculpting will specifically target the fat cells in areas that concern you. A gel pad is placed over the skin to protect it. Surrounding tissues are not affected. Compared to other procedures which use heat, ultrasound or injections, CoolSculpting is virtually risk-free when it comes to skin, nerve or muscle damage.
CoolSculpting results in a permanent reduction of fat cells. Once fat cells are gone, they do not return; this is because every person’s body only has a finite number of fat cells. They do not regenerate.

The remaining fat cells condense, which reduces the fat layer, making you look slimmer and reducing inches. On average, most patients see anywhere from a 20 to 30 percent reduction in fat (in the treated area) from a single treatment. In fact, most people report dropping one or two dress sizes.
However, doctors point out that while this is a permanent reduction of fat cells, you still need to diet and exercise in order to control the fat cells you have left. If you gain weight, that weight has to go somewhere, and it will go to your remaining fat cells, which will expand. Ensure you eat vegetables, fruits, proteins, and healthy fats to gain results from exercising. Avoid chips, crackers and pretzels as snacks, choose salmon as opposed to steak, and snack on nutrient rich food.
Eating three solid meals a day is a misconception when you are exercising. Break this into four to five meals throughout the day to keep your body energized for transition as you work out.
Change Up Your Fitness Routine
Your body needs a variety of exercise to gain results. If you find that a certain exercise does not work for your abs, change it to a different routine. For instance, if sit ups do not reduce the fat on your tummy, you adjust how you do them to gain results. Moving sideways as you incline as opposed to facing upwards as you tilt will improve the side abs.
Change workout routines every three weeks or more. The change shocks the muscles that were not being utilized by the previous routine into action. You will soon see great results for the trouble spots that bother you.
Get Your Cardio In
There is much debate over the need to sweat during your workout. The perspiration issue aside, the key is to get your heart rate up. When your workout feels too easy, push yourself a bit. Use heavier weights or increase reps. Feel your heart rate increase and you know you are doing it right.
Avoid the One Muscle Group Per Day Syndrome
Don’t exercise a single muscle every day. The body needs variety in exercises to gain results faster. You can choose upper body muscles for one session and lower body muscles for the next session. For instance, you can mix chest exercises with back exercises to gain faster results.
Finally, avoid over training. Muscles need rest to develop. Therefore, ensure that you get enough rest after workouts for better results. Remember, toning your body is about the reduction of fat and increase of muscle. Not overexerting one group.

The way the treatment works is that laser light passes through the skin and destroys the hair follicle (the place from which the hair grows). The procedure works best on hair that is actively growing and since only about 20% of the hair is growing at a particular time, hair removal usually requires at least five treatments. It is crazy not to use sunscreen every day for both health and cosmetic reasons. Even on a cloudy day ultraviolet rays reach the ground. As the ozone layer fails, even more of these harmful ultraviolet rays (UVA and UVB) are reaching the Earth’s surface.
The UVA rays damage the skin and cause premature aging. The UVB rays are responsible for sunburns and skin cancers. You need protection from both. The damage is cumulative. Every time you go into the sun the skin is exposed to ultraviolet radiation and more damage occurs.
The best sunscreens are effective against both UVA radiation and UVB radiation. The best sunscreens also contain compounds that both physically block the UV rays and absorb any UV rays that get past the blocking ingredient. The best sunscreens should not contain PABA and Fragrances that can irritate the skin. Discuss this with your physician or nurse to make sure you’re using the sunscreen that’s best for you.
Both of these medications are different forms of the Botulinum A molecule. The Botulinum A molecule blocks nerves from stimulating muscles. Without being stimulated the muscle becomes relaxed. If you look at your face in the mirror and then watch it as you completely relax, you will notice the lines and wrinkles become softer, less defined and less prominent.
